Surface Marker Buoy manufactured from 100% welded PU coated fabric with brass eyelet for buoy line connection. Fitted with small (75 mm long) oral valve/tube assembly or an economic roll valve for inflation. A clear pocket is welded to the top to take a 'lightstick' when night diving. The JR Dive Mark SMB will provide 18-20 Kgs. of positive buoyancy at the surface.
Economic personal SMB ideal for shore diving or RIB diving when space is at a premium and boat cover is close by.
Very popular delayed SMB. Usually inflated prior to leaving the bottom, allowing air expansion to fully inflate the SMB on its assent.
Another very popular Aquatec product, with hundreds being sold over the years.
JR Diver Decom with Pouch Diver Decom with convenient quick release pouch.
Based on ideas by Kevin Gurr of IANTD it incorporates the design features considered the technical diver requires from a delayed SMB. Specification Taller and thinner than a conventional SMB with sufficient lift to support a diver while decompressing. The bag is inflated through a side opening via spare air supply or venting from exhaled gas. The buoy line is attached to a brass eyelet offset from the inflation slit, minimising the risk of snagging the inflation regulator on the buoy line. A throat at the bottom of the SMB restricts the air from escaping but allows for expansion on ascent. Tension on the line keeps the SMB upright on the surface. A Velcro strap retains SMB when rolled up prior to deployment. The JR Tec Diver Delayed SMB will provide up to 10-11 kgs. of positive buoyancy at the surface.
