The pressure gauge and computer module have more in common than merely sharing space in a rubber boot. When you push a button for backlighting your pressure gauge illuminates in conjunction with your computer. The computer module has been designed with audible alarms that when properly monitored can add a reassuring level of safety to your diving adventure. A piezzo alarm inside our pressure gauge gives you an audible indication when your tank pressure reaches 500PSI, further enhancing your level of safety. The unique, two-button design allows the diver to program functions that can personalize the operation of the computer.
The heart of the MaxDepth Console is the 200-foot MaxDepth Gauge. It’s air-filled diaphragm design allows an expanded shallow scale for better readability at sport diving depths while still topping out at a hefty 200-foot/60 meter maximum depth. A large, luminous display face enhances the readability of the MaxDepth gauge that absorbs light seven times faster and brighter than other glow-in-the-dark materials even further. Like sports car steering, the rack and pinion movement ensures smooth and precise operation year after year. Like the name implies, the MaxDepth gauge allows reference of the maximum depth after the dive by using a MaxDepth needle that can be easily reset. Oceanic's modular design provides a number of configuration options for the MaxDepth gauge. The MaxDepth module itself fits all Oceanic gauge consoles and many other brands of dive consoles. As a hose mount gauge, the MaxDepth provides convenient placement on a high pressure hose near a dive computer. Oceanic's Combo Boot puts the MaxDepth together with a SlimLine Pressure gauge. The Oceanic NavCon console provides convenient placement for the SideScan Compass module at the perfect angle for underwater navigation. The SlimLine Pressure gauge fits in the back of the NavCon for a compact three-gauge console.
